Overview

Power On is hiring an experienced Electrical Technician/Electrician to support residential and light commercial electrical work across Southwest Florida. This field-based role involves installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in homes and small commercial environments. The position requires a hands-on technician who can work independently, communicate clearly, and maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite. Work is local, steady, and primarily Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Install wiring, outlets, switches, light fixtures, panels, and dedicated circuits
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete corrective repairs
• Maintain and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations
• Communicate job progress, material needs, and project updates to leadership
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Operate independently or as part of a small field crew

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of residential or commercial electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Personal hand and power tools for field work
• Professional demeanor and pride in workmanship

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license
• OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification
• Experience in small business or service-based electrical environments
• Service truck, field service, remodel, new construction, or punch-list electrical experience

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
