Summary of Position

An Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting electrical systems. This role ensures all electrical work complies with applicable codes, safety standards, and regulations while delivering reliable power solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Ability to use a multimeter and megger.
• Install and test switchgears, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators.
• Repair, test and install electrical motors, and generators.
• Troubleshoot/install electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
• May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
• Operates all equipment, as well as performing duties normally
• Will be required to be standing for long periods of time.
• Assemble systems components as required.
• Other work as directed.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
