Hours

Monday - Friday (7:00 am to 3:30 pm - 8 hour shift) – May be required to work weekends as needed

* *Shift Differential: 4% (2**nd* *shift) or 6% (3**rd* *shift) differential pay only if the majority of hours worked fall within the shift differential window*

Job Description

* Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment. Working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment. Position involves routine ladder use and some elevated work task. Other duties as assigned.

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Required by the Position

* Maintenance Electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
