Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in various electrical systems and tools. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other hand and power tools effectively.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Work on low voltage systems as required.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project completion.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment including voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Experience working with low voltage systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial electrical practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
