Electrician

We are looking for an experienced licensed Electrician with an expertise in low voltage systems to work onsite to address day-to-day needs as they arise or as part of installation projects.

Job Duties

• Diagnose and repair complex electronic systems;
• Install and service low voltage equipment;
• Build and install electrical panels;
• Wire sensors and field devices;
• Provide sketches or documentation of field changes or discrepancies for engineering corrections to as-built drawing;
• Interpret as well as understand As-Built drawings and Mechanical prints;
• Work closely with general contractors, subcontractors, and customers to become familiar with site operation;
• Perform point-to-point checkout and commissioning;
• Skilled in using computers and learning to use programs;
• Keep customers informed on the nature of the services provided, any outstanding issues, recommended system enhancements, upgrades, and/or repairs;
• Manage assigned work to meet deadlines and customer expectations;
• Abide by company and customer safety guidelines and policies;
• Provide training to customers on how to use or interact with front-end controls;.
• Organize and complete documentation as necessary;
• Work independently or as part of a team;
• Work with customer IT staff to troubleshoot or establish network connectivity;
• Participate in the Scheduled On-Call Technician Rotation; and
• Other Controls Service related tasks as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Possesses an understanding of HVAC equipment and systems;
• Serviced and commissioned Direct Digital Controls (DDC) programmable controllers; and
• Performed preventive maintenance, repair, and general servicing of HVAC controls components.

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-years experience working as a licensed electrician;
• Computer experience required; and
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
