POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, operation and maintenance of all electrical systems within the State Courts Building.

Essential functions include but are not limited to

* Maintaining electrical systems. * Creating preventive maintenance schedules and performing periodic inspections of electrical control panels ensuring tamper interlocks, relays and sizing are performing properly. * Wiring of electrical system ranging in voltage from 110V to 480V. * Maintaining monthly and yearly fire extinguisher inspections spread sheets. * System testing and certification/code compliance. * Developing and maintaining building evacuation maps. * Maintaining, inspecting, and repairing or scheduling fire sprinkler systems repairs. * Maintaining emergency lighting and lighting control systems that interface with security system. * Ensuring proper maintenance of building elevators, including elevator inspections, interfaces, certification, and coordination with State Elevator fire code inspector. * Scheduling and conducting annual inspections and maintenance for: + Data Center: detectors, pull stations, notifying devices, panels, fire extinguishers, FM 200 and Pre-Action system. + Building: detectors, pull stations, notifying devices, panels, fire extinguishers.
