Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Electrician is responsible for performing electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within an automation manufacturing facility that includes panel building operations. This role requires a foundational understanding of electrical systems, industrial automation, and control panel assembly. The Level 2 Electrician will work under the guidance of senior electricians and supervisors to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical and automation systems.

TOP 5 RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Undertake more complex wiring tasks, including working with control panels and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

2) Integrate electrical components with automation systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

3) Interpret and work independently from electrical schematics and technical drawings.

4) Regular maintenance of electrical systems performed to prevent potential issues.

5) Examine and test electrical installations to ensure that they comply with quality standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• Install, wire, and terminate electrical components in automation systems and control panels per schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and control system issues on machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and panel layouts to ensure accurate installations.
