Electrical Technician

CEI Electrical and Mechanical is Kansas City's premier commercial service contractor for KC's leading retailers, property management companies, and restaurants. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Electrician. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and electrical components for commercial machinery.

Responsibilities

• On-call (techs are on a rotation)
• Interprets various documents (e.g. diagrams, wiring details, manufacturers specifications, etc.) to ensure proper installation.
• Follow all state and federal safety regulations (OSHA, local vendors, etc.) while working in an efficient and productive manner.
• Install, modify, and troubleshoot to resolve customer concerns.
• Required to work at heights installing equipment/materials on rooftops and ground-based equipment shelters and platforms.
• Site walks pre and post construction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial electrical service preferred
• Project management
• 5 years documented experience with verifiable references
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills - Must like people!
• Valid Driver's License
