Electrical Helper

The Electrical Helper will assist electricians with electrical duties, working at construction sites, businesses and residences. This is a full time position. Hours are Monday through Thursday; usually 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime, weekends or change of hours may occur.

We are looking to fill roles in our Commercial & Service divisions.

Responsibilities include

- Assist in installing electrical systems

- Install lighting, electrical outlets and circuit breakers

- Drill holes and pull/push wiring through openings, using hand and power tools

- Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace parts and reassemble

- Perform labor duties related to installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment

- Pay great attention to safety precautions

- Work from ladders, scaffolds and roofs

Requirements

- Ability to work well with a team

- Ability to use electrical and hand tools

- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines

- Capable of lifting and carrying 25-50 lbs.

- Good troubleshooting and communication skills

- Ability to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and work overhead

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
