Electrical Apprentice

Home office is based out of Kingsley, IA, but we service the Siouxland Area. You may not be required to drive to the home office on a daily basis.

Some electrical experience, schooling, or a combination of both required. Wage is dependent on skill level of the employee and previous electrical experience.

Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential settings - Perform electrical inspections and troubleshoot issues to identify the root cause - Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components - Test electrical systems for proper functioning and safety - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with high voltage systems - Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Skills: - Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in the trade - Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations (NEC) or the ability to learn them - Experience with frame carpentry for installation purposes - Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues

Must be able to: - Work on a ladder and with heights - Get into attics and crawl spaces - Be on your feet all day - Work in various weather conditions - Work around livestock - Retain knowledge easily

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
