Electrical Apprentice

We are a growing standby generator company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience installing, servicing, and maintaining residential and commercial standby generators while working alongside experienced electricians.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of standby generator systems
• Run conduit, pull wire, and complete electrical connections under supervision
• Read and follow electrical plans, manufacturer specifications, and installation requirements
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable electrical codes and company standards
• Accurately document work performed and communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications

• Enrolled in, or eligible to enroll in, an electrical apprenticeship program
• Working knowledge of the electrical code is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform neat, accurate work
• Ability to follow instructions while also thinking critically and solving problems independently
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Generator experience is a plus but not required
