Deepwater Electrician/Instrumentation-New Platform

The Deepwater Electrician A is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all electrical equipment and safety systems in an offshore production environment. This role requires advanced technical knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and safety requirements, along with the ability to work independently and lead electrical activities on assigned platforms.

The Electrician A maintains current knowledge of government, company, and client‑specific policies, codes, and regulations and serves as a key technical resource for both Danos leadership and client representatives. Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills are essential. Candidates should be open to international rotational assignments on a 28‑day on / 28‑day off schedule, as required. *Electrical Systems & Operations*

• Maintain and manage all electrical systems to support safe and efficient offshore operations.
• Maintain all electrical equipment, including safety and critical shutdown systems.
• Serve as the primary authority for electrical equipment and switching devices on assigned platforms.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty wiring and electrical components including relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards, and position‑sensing devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair end devices associated with PLC and DCS systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.

• Demonstrate proficiency with electrical controls of various types.
• Read, interpret, and develop electrical schematics and logic diagrams.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues independently or identify required technical resources.
• Maintain familiarity with production equipment and understand operational functionality.
