Construction Journeyman Electrician

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in accordance with current codes and safety standards. This role interprets drawings and specifications, troubleshoots electrical issues, and collaborates with project teams to ensure timely and high-quality project completion. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical Installation, Maintenance, & Repair

• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including motors, transformers, generators, lighting circuits, and associated components
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with applicable codes and regulations
• Operate electrical testing equipment to identify and resolve malfunctions effectively
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and execution sequence
• Perform work on high-voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety and code requirements
• Ensure all completed work meets current local, state, and national electrical codes

Planning and Efficiency

• Coordinate and prepare necessary tools, equipment, and materials in advance to meet project timelines
