POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Commercial Service Electrician, you will work directly with commercial and residential customers to provide high-quality, code-compliant electrical solutions throughout the DMV area. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment in both commercial and residential settings — running calls independently while collaborating with the broader service team to ensure exceptional customer outcomes. You will also mentor an assigned apprentice, helping to develop the next generation of skilled electricians on our team. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment in commercial and residential settings.
• Install conduit systems, feeder wire, and electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective, code-compliant solutions.
• Identify and resolve safety hazards and code violations, ensuring all work meets the NEC and applicable Maryland and local standards.
• Repair or replace broken or faulty electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for both commercial and residential projects.
• Perform safety checks on electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and the NEC.
