Wallace Electric Company is currently hiring highly skilled Lead Electricians. The Commercial & Industrial Lead Electrician will oversee electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across commercial construction and industrial environments. This role directs job‑site electrical crews, ensures safety and code compliance, and supports project management through scheduling, planning, documentation, and quality control. The Lead Electrician acts as the technical authority on-site and ensures projects are completed efficiently and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors on commercial and industrial job sites.
• Train and mentor team members to elevate skills, safety, and job performance.
• Assign daily work tasks, inspect completed work, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Serve as the primary site contact for inspectors, engineers, facility staff, and general contractors.

Commercial & Industrial Electrical Work

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot:
• Transformers, switchgear, panels, and distribution systems
• Lighting systems and lighting controls
• Motor Control Center, Variable Frequency Drive, and industrial equipment
• PLC wiring, control circuits, and automation systems
• Conduit systems (e.g., EMT, RMC, PVC, flex, specialty conduit)
• Backup power systems including UPS and generators
