BAS Electrician
Summary
As a BAS Electrician on the Energy Controls Team, you will support the installation and wiring of low-voltage Building Automation Systems (BAS) for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. This role focuses on the physical implementation of controls infrastructure, ensuring safe and accurate field installation in accordance with electrical codes and project specifications.
Requirements
- Experience with low-voltage electrical work, particularly in BAS or HVAC control environments
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Knowledge of conduit bending, wire pulling, and panel wiring best practices
- Familiarity with DDC controls, field devices (sensors, actuators, relays), and power supplies
- Understanding of applicable NEC and local electrical codes
- Skilled in safe work practices and use of electrical testing tools
- Ability to coordinate with controls technicians and project managers during installations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail during wiring and terminations
- Capable of maintaining accurate documentation of wiring changes and field conditions
