Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electrical systems and avionics components using schematics, CAD drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues with electrical or avionics systems and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as, ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters to diagnose system faults accurately.
  • Perform maintenance on aircraft airframes and electrical equipment in accordance with FAA regulations and AS9100 standards.
  • Use power tools, hand tools, soldering irons, and fabrication tools for assembly, repair, or modification tasks.
  • Troubleshoots and repair all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft including Garmin, Aspen, Genesys, Avidyne
  • Assist in the fabrication of wiring harnesses for avionics installations while adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Support vehicle maintenance operations related to military or aviation equipment by applying mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
  • Performs IFR/VFR inspections
