1st Year Journeyman Electrician

Bryant is seeking a 1st year Journeyman.

We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician with a well rounded background in residential, some commercial, and service electrical to be able to perform the tasks listed below. As a Bryant Journeyman Electrician you will be performing tasks such as

• Rough-in and finish electrical
• Upgrading electrical services
• Assist HVAC installations with electrical connections
• Small electrical additions
• Occasionally assist on larger commercial projects.

• Possess the ability to supervise and delegate tasks to apprentices.
• Possess the ability to read and follow blueprints.
• Possess a working knowledge of NEC.
• Possess a working knowledge of state and local electrical codes.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Have previous electrical service/maintenance experience.

Qualifications for this position

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have high school diploma or GED
• Able to pass background check and drug screening
• State of Nebraska Electrical Journeyman Card or ability to obtain one directly after hire
• Experience with Air Conditioning and Furnace hook ups
• Residential wiring experience.
• Commercial experience
• Valid driver’s license clean driving record.
• Own required hand tools
• 4th year apprentice candidates will be considered if a Nebraska State Apprentice card has been held for four years
