Job Description

Bryant is seeking a 1st year Journeyman.

We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician with a well rounded background in residential, some commercial, and service electrical to be able to perform the tasks listed below. As a Bryant Journeyman Electrician you will be performing tasks such as

Rough-in and finish electrical
Upgrading electrical services
Assist HVAC installations with electrical connections
Small electrical additions
Occasionally assist on larger commercial projects.

Possess the ability to supervise and delegate tasks to apprentices.
Possess the ability to read and follow blueprints.
Possess a working knowledge of NEC.
Possess a working knowledge of state and local electrical codes.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Have previous electrical service/maintenance experience.

Qualifications for this position

Be at least 18 years of age
Have high school diploma or GED
Able to pass background check and drug screening
State of Nebraska Electrical Journeyman Card or ability to obtain one directly after hire
Experience with Air Conditioning and Furnace hook ups
Residential wiring experience.
Commercial experience
Valid driver’s license clean driving record.
Own required hand tools
4th year apprentice candidates will be considered if a Nebraska State Apprentice card has been held for four years
